π¦ Usual Shipping Estimates
We work hard to get your order processed and out the door. These are our usual shipping times once the order leaves our warehouse:
- Wheels or Tires (Loose): 4-7 Business Days
- Mounted & Balanced Packages: 4-10 Business Days
Note: Processing times are typically 1-4 business days before shipping.
π Delivery & Signatures
To ensure your order arrives safely, someone may need to be available to sign for the delivery. Missing a delivery (especially for scheduled freight appointments) can sometimes lead to extra or return shipping fees, so please keep a close eye on your tracking!
- Freight Orders (Pallets): For larger items like mounted & balanced packages, the carrier will usually call to schedule a delivery appointment. Please try to answer or call them back promptly so they can get your package to you without delays.
- Ground Orders (FedEx/UPS): These often require a signature without a set appointment. Monitoring your tracking number is the best way to ensure someone is home to sign.
- Missed Deliveries: If the carrier can't reach you or make the delivery after multiple attempts, the shipment might be returned to us as undeliverable. Standard return fees apply for undeliverable items, so staying in touch with the carrier is key.
π Inspection Checklist
Follow these quick steps immediately upon arrival to protect your order:
1. The 24-Hour Rule: Inspect all boxes, products, and quantities within 24 hours of delivery. If you see damage or missing items, please take photos right away.
2. Freight Inspection: Check the boxes before you sign the driver's paperwork. If the packaging looks damaged, write "DAMAGED" on the receipt next to your signature. You only need to refuse the delivery if the damage is severe (e.g., pallet collapsed, wheels heavily damaged). For smaller issues like box scuffs or minor scratches, please accept the delivery and email us at support@shopwheelxpress.com immediately so we can get it resolved for you!
3. The Golden Rule:
Please hold off on mounting tires or installing wheels if you notice any damage.
Once a wheel or tire is mounted, installed, or driven on, it is considered accepted and cannot be exchanged for shipping damage.
π« Return Policy: All Sales Final
Because these are highly specialized and heavy items, we are unable to accept returns or exchanges once items have shipped.
This includes wheels, tires, and specifically mounted & balanced packages.
- Fitment Responsibility: Please enter your accurate vehicle information on the cart page. We will do our best to double-check this for you, but fitment cannot be 100% guaranteed. Ultimately, ordering the correct specifications is up to the customer.
- Cancellations: Fees may apply to cancellations made after processing begins. Mounted packages cannot be canceled once assembly starts.
Refused & Undeliverable Shipments:
Please note that refusing a delivery is not the same as a cancellation. If a shipment is returned to us because it was refused or undeliverable (missed appointment, no signature, etc.), the customer is responsible for original outbound shipping, return freight charges, carrier storage fees, and a 30% restocking/administrative fee.
Route Protection: If you added Route Package Protection at checkout, you are covered for loss, theft, or damage. You can easily file claims directly through the Route app or website.
